We’ve been working adjacent three dimensional modelling for over 20 years, allowing us to understand your existing information and how best to augment it. Meet Our Responsive, Expert Team
Erick Thurston, P.Eng – Principal Engineer and Omemee Enthusiast
Erick’s professional pedigree can be described as ‘specialist generalist’, having been exposed to every facet of Ontario’s construction industry across 15 years of professional practice. Starting in gravel production, Erick has been managed projects ranging from quality assurance on a 1.6 kilometer autonomous vehicle test rack to providing internal expertise on 200,000+ cubic meter engineered fills.
Starting out in Alberta learning the ropes of survey, design and CAD work, Erick returned to Ontario spending time learning various roles in production pits and quarries, engineering consulting and managing active construction projects. He’s also been responsible for the design and implementation of various enterprise softwares to increase the efficiency and speed of entire teams.
As a well-rounded engineer, Erick understands the constraints and challenges Ontario’s contractors, consultants and civic officials face daily. Never turning down a challenging assignment, Erick has been principal author on a wide variety of engineering outputs including:
· Quality Control Plans for harbour revetment, nuclear waste storage, large scale asphalt paving projects and geotechnical laboratories
